Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Monetization/Ad Revenue Optimization Strategist with a strong background in monetizing digital content and expertise in using the Ezoic platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing ad placements and maximizing ad revenue across our digital platforms through strategic use of Ezoic’s tools and features, including custom placeholders for both short and long form content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective monetization strategies tailored for digital news and media content.
• Utilize the Ezoic platform to create ad placements and manage ad inventories efficiently.
• Use the Ezoic Chrome extension to create and place custom placeholders strategically within articles to maximize viewer engagement and revenue.
• Configure and se Ezoic WordPress plugin to automate ad placements.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve ad revenue and user experience.
• Collaborate with content writers to ensure that monetization tactics align with content quality and integrity.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in ad technology and monetization platforms, particularly Ezoic, or other platforms.
• Retain excellent UX while implementing these changes on the site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in monetizing digital content, preferably in a news or media website environment.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Ezoic platform, including the use of its Chrome extension for adding and managing custom placeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to enhance ad revenue.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in ad revenue optimization and digital content monetization.
• At least 2 years of experience using Ezoic effectively.
• Experience with digital analytics tools and the ability to translate analytics into actionable growth initiatives.
