We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Counsel III to join our Insight team. This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra - Hybrid.

Key responsibilities include:

Role responsibilities

  • Onboarding new law firms in accordance with the vendor management process, including the following:
    • Completing vendor management onboarding forms with all required information
    • Liaising with Insight vendor management and BNYM vendor management teams throughout the onboarding process
    • Communicating with law firms to obtain due diligence information (where required) and engagement letters/terms of business
    • Working with relevant legal team members to complete law firm onboarding
    • Submitting risk acceptances on behalf of relevant legal team member
  • Monitoring of existing law firms used by legal team, including the following:
    • Reviewing accepted law firm status and requesting updated annual due diligence or risk acceptance, if applicable
    • Submitting performance score cards
  • Providing day-to-day support to vendor management lawyer, including assisting with the completion of Vendor Contract Review Checklists for new vendors; supporting the importing of Due Diligence responses into the vendor contract management processes; supporting the periodic review of risk-accepted contractual/Due Diligence gaps.
  • Assisting with the administration and general project management of various Vendor Contract Remediation projects including: management of project milestones and email comms with vendors and Insight Engagement Managers, management of standard letters of intent, template draft Amendments, follow-up/chasing emails etc.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Must have 2-4 years of experience in vendor management
  • Must be a graduate in Law.
