Chief Manager - Cost Excellence
This includes both “Capital and Expense projects” which entails construction of transmission lines, sub-stations, and execution of Smart Grid solutions.
Develop adequate procedures and processes for Cost Controls function to maintain efficient operational excellence. Review project drawings, specifications, BOQ’s and other contract documents in order to prepare an accurate & comprehensive workable budget & cost control plan.
Review project schedules in order to prepare an accurate cash flow and cash flow control plan.
Ensure communication with projects, procurement, engineering and finance functions during the preparation of detailed budget.
Preparing cost trending & forecasting analysis for project cost, cash flow intensity, 3 months rolling cash flow plans and communicating these to all related parties, highlighting concerns and heeds, recommending necessary measures, actions and methods.
Preparing regularly, monthly reports and reviews of project cost performance, providing all concerned parties with regular feedback and advice.
Support commercial person in preparation & settlement of Extra claims from contractors (Developer works) and to clients (EPC works).
Participating in meetings for reviewing project progress and current cost position
Leverages industry best practices and continuous improvements to continually enhance cost management / controls processes
Monitors regularly, the detailed budget and cash flow w.r.t. construction progress and forecast schedule.
