Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Science Executive to join our team. In this role, you will work on our mental health project, employing data science methodologies to analyze, interpret, and provide actionable insights from complex data sets. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of enhancing mental health awareness and intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
• Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models to predict mental health outcomes and identify key risk factors.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including psychologists, researchers, and software developers, to integrate data science solutions into the project.
• Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports detailing methodologies, findings, and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and mental health research to continuously improve project outcomes.

Required Skills and Expertise:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).
• Statistical Knowledge: Solid understanding of statistical methods and their application in data analysis.
• Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) to create insightful visualizations.
• Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data science or a related role, preferably with a focus on mental health or healthcare projects.
• Experience in working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
• Familiarity with mental health concepts and research methodologies is a plus.
