As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting data analysis initiatives within the organization. You will work under the guidance of senior data analysts and managers to collect, clean, and analyze data to derive meaningful insights. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to develop foundational skills in data analytics and gain practical experience in a professional setting.
 
Responsibilities:
 
1. Data Collection and Preparation:
  • Assist in identifying relevant data sources and gathering data for analysis.
  • Clean and preprocess data to remove errors, inconsistencies, and outliers.
  • Support data transformation tasks, such as data aggregation, merging, and filtering.
2. Data Analysis:
  • Apply basic statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract insights from datasets.
  • Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.
  • Support exploratory data analysis efforts to uncover relationships and opportunities.
  • Perform basic quantitative and qualitative analysis to support decision-making processes.
3. Reporting and Visualization:
  • Contribute to the development of reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Assist in presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve data visualizations and reporting templates.
4. Data Quality and Integrity:
  • Support efforts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout the analysis process.
  • Assist in implementing data validation techniques to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and IT professionals to improve data quality and integrity.
5. Collaborative Problem Solving:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and objectives.
  • Assist in gathering analytical requirements and contributing to delivering actionable insights.
  • Support decision-making processes by providing data-driven recommendations and solutions.
6. Continuous Learning and Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in data analytics.
