Job Description

Professional Exposure:

  • Prior experience in TDE commodity design, development, testing & manufacturing.
  • Exposure / know how on CAE transmission components.
  • Special Knowledge or skill required: problem-solving techniques, Reliability tools, DFMEA, Transmission components development, Transmission Asy testing, and tear down analysis expertise.

Education Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. In Mech / Automobile

Number of Years of Experience: 8 to 10 years (SG7)

  • Will be primarily working on Transmission, Clutch and Drive Shaft for T6 applications.
  • Lead benchmarking activity and develop cost saving ideas for TDE commodity.
  • Maintain CRID database for TDE and support Matched Pair meeting.
  • Develop (with support from Country Purchasing Finance) Business Case using engineering cost estimates, latest forecast volume, exchange assumptions and TARR thresholds.
  • WERS concern release & finalise design validation testing and plan
  • Create DFMEA and/or PFMEA
  • To establish design validation plan & lead the Design Verification test
  • Coordinate with interfacing activities, including PMT/PAT, Purchasing, Vehicle Engineering, STA, and drive compatible/optimal designs that meet targets.
  • Drive supplier for cost reduction deliverables without compromising other requirements.
  • To finalise component design specification along with Global team.
  • Part signoff & implementation upon successful completion of process validation testing
  • Identifying & evaluating new supplier / source.
