Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable BFSI Legal Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, with a focus on debt collection, mortgage, or insurance (Third-Party Administration). A strong educational background in law, particularly with experience in laws governing the BFSI sector, is essential for this role. The candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and advising on matters related to financial services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice on matters related to debt collection, mortgage, and insurance (TPA).
Interpret and apply laws and regulations pertinent to the BFSI sector. Experience in US/Australia BFSI sector legal framework would be preferred.
Understanding of pre-requisites, licenses, conduct while conducting the activities of Debt Collection.
Must be familiar with the terminology of mortgage/debt collection/insurance.
Support the client with advice on legal compliance around debt collection regulations.
Support the client with advice of legal compliance around Insurance
Requirements
Competencies Required:
A law degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of two years of experience in the BFSI sector, with a focus on debt collection, mortgage, or insurance (TPA).
Strong understanding of the legal framework governing the BFSI sector
