We are seeking a talented and experienced Google Cloud Operations Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture and a proven track record of successfully managing support or managed services projects on Google Cloud Platform.
Role: Google Cloud Operations Lead/Google Cloud DevOps Lead

Duration : Full time

Location: Remote

Work timings : 2 PM to 11 PM
Roles and responsibilities:

• Provide L3/L4 support, monitor Cloud infrastructure, improve platform, maintain security, manage patches, configure software, and oversee backups.
• Responsible for implementing, automating, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting and administering Google Cloud application's infrastructure.
• Continuously improve CI/CD & infrastructure for better reliability, observability, performance & scalability.
• Troubleshooting operational issues across multiple complex systems and propose and implement new solutions
• You will take responsibility for the availability, performance, infrastructure security and scalability of our Applications.
• Contributing to important architectural and operational decisions like microservices vs. monoliths, deployment techniques, technologies, policies, etc.
• Keep cost in control and ensure optimized solutions are in place plus there are no leakages.
• Help your coworkers by creating documentation and detailed knowledge sharing for continuous improvement.
• Lead the group of team and ensure the project is up and running without any operational issues.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in GCP Managed Services & in leveraging GCP Services
• Good experience in the DevOps side as well
• Strong Experience in Designing & Architecting solutions leveraging GCP Services.
• In depth knowledge of key GCP services – GCE, GKE, GAE, GCS, Cloud SQL, VPC, Resource Manager, StackDriver, Cloud CDN, Cloud IAM.
• Should have hands-on experience with Terraform/Ansible.
• Expertise in using various CI/CD tools like Jenkins/CircleCi/GoCd/Teamcity etc..
• Excellent Experience in Automating infrastructure by using Shell/Bash/ Python.
• Strong Troubleshooting and Debugging skills is highly recommended.
• Experience in using Anthos will be an added advantage.
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Excellent Leadership skills & Team handling skills
• GCP Certification - Associate Cloud Engineer/Professional Cloud Architect
