Designation - Copy Editor

Job Type - Freelance

Work Mode - Work from home

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree/post-graduation in English, Journalism or communications.
  • Language Proficiency:
  • Command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, punctuation and style.
  • Proficiency in understanding and editing content for clarity, coherence and consistency.

Editing Experience:

  • Experience in copyediting or language editing.
  • Familiarity with different style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago Manual of Style).
  • Strong attention to detail to catch errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation and formatting.
  • Ability to maintain consistency in style and tone throughout a document.

Software Proficiency:

Familiarity with editing and proofreading software, such as Microsoft Word's Track Changes feature and PDF editing tools.
