Group Trucks Operation - Production Logistics (PL) is a global function responsible for the overall supply chain performance.
Logistics Management Sourcing (LMS) is a global team of 9 skilled co-workers within Production Logistics.
Our mission is to ensure that logistics is part of the sourcing process and that new suppliers deliver cost-efficient, and risk minimized logistics setups to our production sites. The work is done in close cooperation with purchasing, operational teams, and external suppliers.
We also add value by being a proficient team working with continuous improvements, collaboration and getting energized by work.
The Logistics Manager Sourcing (LMS) focus is to be the link the plants’ logistics requirements with purchasing’s sourcing community. Each LMS has a global responsibility for a segment portfolio of Automotive Parts (AP) to our GTO production plants.
The LMS Support assist the different LMS as needed, balance the workload, and develop the team’s way of working. With the growth in India this support role might evolve to a standard LMS function over time.
During onbording you are expected to work European hours and you will get a short term assignment (STA) in Europe.
