Job Description
As a MuleSoft Software Engineer you follow good practices and project guidelines in all cases including the use of source code control, automated testing and deployment approaches, promoting test-case-based development, and proper documentation practices.
Maintain strong hands-on skills with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and stay current on MuleSoft products, strategies, and good practices by maintaining relationships with the MuleSoft product teams, interacting regularly with the overall MuleSoft community, and proactively pursuing training opportunities as needed.
Apply API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to help organizations achieve goals with APIs.
As MuleSoft Software Engineer you will have following key accountabilities:
  • You will design and develop RESTful-APIs together with the MuleSoft development team.
  • You will reuse custom modules in your implementation provided by our MuleSoft C4E team.
  • You will support our MuleSoft support team in investigations and/or troubleshooting.
  • You will learn how to read functional designs in a 4+1 view and stay in strong contact with the MuleSoft team for regularly knowledge transfer.
Now that we've introduced you to the position as MuleSoft Software Engineer, what skills, qualifications and experience should you have?
  • Self-starter, you should be able to work independently.
  • You should be able to work in a dynamic agile team environment.
  • You should be conversant with tools such as Postman, Eclipse etc.
  • You should be experienced in Java, HTML, XML, JSON and the most web development tools.
  • You must have experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio development for at least 3 years.
  • You must have experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or be willing to learn it.
  • You must have experience in developing and testing RESTful APIs.
  • You should be a MCD (MuleSoft Certified Developer) or willing to do the certification.
  • Further MuleSoft certifications such like Platform- (MCPA) or Solution Architect (MCIA) would be a plus.
