The Opportunity
Experience: 6+ months of experience
Role: Contract
If you are a dedicated hockey fan with a knack for storytelling and a desire to be part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Writing 4-5 articles a day ranging from news stories, game previews, features, listicles etc.
Assisting the team in identifying and creating engaging content for our worldwide audience
Prior work experience in sports writing, preferably with a focus on NHL or hockey coverage.
Open to working ET hours to accommodate game schedules and breaking news.
Proficient in covering game-related topics, including match previews, recaps, game analysis, and league news.
Strong writing skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
A deep understanding of the NHL, its teams, players, and current trends in the sport.
Knowledge of hockey analytics and advanced statistics is a plus.
