OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
To support and collaborate with the Member States for further development and implementation of national policies and strategies to advance universal health coverage by strengthening of Health Systems. This includes strengthening Human resources for Health, delivery of high-quality integrated health services, Access to safe medical products and health technologies, Health Information Systems, Health Financing, leadership and Governance, community participation, and Digital Health.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Under the direct supervision of the Director, Department of UHC/Health Systems and overall guidance of Director, Programme Management, the incumbent will perform the following functions:
A) Administration
B) Programme planning and Programme management
C) Resource and Grant agreement management:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Essential: First level university degree in management, public or business administration, social sciences or related field from a recognized university.
Desirable: Training in Business Administration or Program management
Experience
Essential: Minimum of two years of progressive work experience in general administration/ program management.
Desirable: Previous working experience in WHO or other UN agencies preferably insenior GS/NPO category

Essential: Expert knowledge of English.
REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at INR 3,008,136 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
