Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in performance testing using JMeter and APM tools like NewRelic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance tests, analyzing and interpreting results, and identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and execute performance tests using JMeter and APM tool.
  • Analyze and interpret performance test results to identify performance bottlenecks and areas
for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain performance test scripts, scenarios and test data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that performance testing is integrated into
the software development life cycle.
  • Prepare and present performance test reports to stakeholders.
  • Monitor application performance using APM tool and identify issues and potential
bottlenecks.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts.
  • Work with development and operations teams to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in performance testing and APM
tools.

Requirements: (Must have)
  • 3+ years of Relevant experience in performance testing.
  • Experience in using JMeter and APM tools is a must.
  • In-depth experience with non-functional testing (performance, resilience, and security)
ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • Good knowledge of tools such as NeoLoad, JMeter / BlazeMeter, LoadRunner / HP
Performance Centre.
  • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Knowledge of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
AJAX)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
