Job Description
  • Responsible for Project Planning, Progress monitoring and controlling of Project.
  • Review Scope of work and segregate defect list department wise and ship zones.
  • Identify Long lead Procurement items and Resource requirements in Coordination with Production team
  • Prepare Preliminary PERT Chart with all the milestone dates for the agreed scope of work for review and approval from customer.
  • Co-ordinate with Procurement team to ensure timely arrival of ordered Procurement items.
  • Co-ordinate with Subcontract team to ensure timely availability of resources, OEMs and services required for project.
  • Coordinate with Production team and SRM to modify Plan due to additional work and Reschedule for Delays during execution of the project.
  • Suggest alternate production methods, Propose alternate vendors, subcontract additional resources and modify or improve supervision methods for improvements and timely completion of projects.
  • Prepare daily plan, weekly plan and monthly plan and submit to production
  • Prepare S- Curve and Monitor the progress of project as per schedule and report to Head ship repair and production team for any delay and take corrective actions.
  • Identify Risks and Prepare Risk management plan and mitigation plan for the project
  • Coordinate with Head Ship Repair to prepare and respond to Faxes, letters received from customers with respect to Refit Progress.
  • Prepare and submit monthly project progress report as required by customer
  • Prepare and Present Project progress for Management reviews and customer. Record action points and coordinate with Production team and SRM for timely closure.
  • Monitor timely closure of WDC raised in coordination with Production/BD.
  • Record guarantee defects raised by customer and coordinate with production team for defect rectification and timely closure of the same.
