Business Segment Overview

Commercial: With boots on the ground authenticity at the heart of everything we do, our comprehensive array of commercial products and services enable you to work directly with our clients, across hedging, risk management, execution and clearing, OTC products, commodity finance and more.

Position Purpose: The role is mainly focused on providing essential support to the back office operations of the Precious Metals Trading Business in Gift City, India.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties will include:
  • Processing trade settlements:
    • Currencies
    • Precious Metals – Physical / Unallocated
  • Daily & monthly reconciliations of external nostros, physical depositories, and internal systems
  • Reconcile positions, cash balances, collaterals, margins with IIBX (India International Bullion Exchange)
  • Oversee and manage the Demat accounts for bullion trading, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, account reconciliation, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Monitor and track bullion inventory levels within Demat accounts. Coordinate with relevant teams to reconcile physical holdings with Demat account balances.
  • Follow and understand all internal procedures & comply with general principles of business
  • Daily Invoicing: All exports/imports
  • Coordinating with FO / BO Precious Metals team globally, accounting department internally, and external third parties locally
  • Filing of each physical shipment and managing logistics
  • Provide support to other departments such as Finance and Compliance.
  • Ad hoc problem resolution as required.
Qualifications:
To land this role you will need:
  • Previous experience in accounting, operations, or a related role within the bullion trading industry
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective planning, organisation and time management skills

  • Degree level or equivalent education (preferred)
  • Understanding of bullion trading operations, including trading processes, pricing mechanisms, quality standards, and logistics requirements.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
