We, at External Services (ES), the healthcare consulting and services arm of Providence India, help build technology solutions that modernize and simplify each step of the healthcare delivery process. And we do that by putting the patient and the provider at the center of everything we do. What will you be responsible for?
  • Overseeing On-prem and Clouds-related projects, ensuring the completion on time and managing resources effectively to ensure optimal team performance.
  • Tracking team performance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
  • Leading the recruitment process to attract top talent and ensuring new hires are effectively onboarded.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Manage and resolve cloud & on-prem-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of cloud services.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, and security teams to ensure smooth operation of cloud services.
  • Ability to architect, design, & deliver solutions leveraging Azure platform services for cloud and hybrid (cloud & on-prem) scenarios.
  • Hybrid Cloud Integration skills to develop a roadmap and strategy and implementation plan to transform and migrate the best fit applications from on-prem to Clouds.
What would your day look like?
  • Providing technical direction and support to the team, helping them solve complex problems and implement best practices.
  • Strong understanding of On-prem & Cloud Networking Principles and Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, GitHub actions, IaC, Config Management & CI/CD pipelines.
  • Managing & deploy on-prem and cloud-based solutions in collaboration with Senior Engineers or Cloud Architects.
  • Working on day-to-day Azure infrastructure deliveries like, VM deployments, Azure Networking, and Infrastructure as a Code.
  • Remediating security vulnerabilities by deploying patching or apply security solutions to fix bugs and security threats.
  • Experience writing scripts in any of Python/Shell/PowerShell or Ansible.
  • Manage and assist in day-to-day Incident, Change Requests and Operations Projects.
  • Dealing with servers and VMs related problems during the planned or unplanned maintenances.
  • Managing Hypervisor environment in VMWare and Hyper-V.
  • Driving “Get Current” and “Stay Current” Initiatives.
  • Identifying optimization and modernization opportunities.
  • Use automation to enable Self Service capabilities and reducing manual overhead.
  • Basic knowledge in Scripting and Automation platforms like Bash/Shell, Ansible etc.
Who are we looking for?
  • 9-12 years of experience with Linux/Unix or Windows Operating Systems with Virtualization Experience.
  • At least 5 Years of hands-on experience on Windows, VMWare products and Azure Clouds Operations and Deployments.
  • Experience in writing scripts in any of Python/Shell/PowerShell or Ansible.
  • Familiar with DevOps tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible or Azure DevOps.
Experience in OS installation, configuration, manage and support in an Enterprise environment.
