The Team
Deloitte helps organizations anticipate and adapt to changes in the regulatory environment, and build better programs and controls to address the wide variety of regulations and regulatory risks. We work with clients and regulators on effective remediation in response to compliance events.
Work you’ll do
As a part of our Risk Advisory team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.
Manage and administer data inventory tools and provide operational reports to the management teams.
Lead cross functional initiatives to drive enterprise-wide data protection strategy forward (e.g., risk based application inventory, data classification, access and encryption controls, data discovery\monitoring, etc.)
Work to identify and manage data protection risks that will drive improvements to the enterprise-wide data protection strategy, policy, processes, and tools
Hands-on experience on DLP, File/Email/Endpoint encryption, Data Classification, Data Discovery, Data Masking solutions
Should have design, implementation & operations experience with at least 2 technologies hands-on experience
Knowledge of IT security and privacy risks and best practice controls across multiple technologies and processes
Working knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 or ISO 27018, SOC security and privacy principles and provide practical examples of their application across the technical domains
Experience working in "Cloud\SaaS\PaaS\IaaS” Data protection solutions Infrastructure and Business Applications architectures ` the ability to address the unique security considerations of secure Cloud computing
Expertise in data security and privacy best practices
Expertise with manual and automated security tools
Experience implementing and driving adoption of compliance tools
Excellent communication skills and organizational acumen
Experience with established and/or emerging compliance programs (GDPR,etc.)
Ability to implement corrective action plans to support ongoing and current engineering efforts
Ability to work with highly sensitive data
Hands on experience with Linux and Unix
